LGBTQI+ movements in Mexico play a crucial role in advancing human rights and democracy in the country. Despite facing challenges, they have achieved significant successes and increased their national presence and recognition over the past several years. Fondo Semillas, in collaboration with Arcus Foundation, presents the report “Kaleidoscope: Findings and Reflections on LGBTQI+ Movements in Mexico”.

This report is the result of participatory exploratory research involving organizations, activists, and experts within LGBTQI+ movements in Mexico. It aims to be a valuable resource for organizations, donors, activists, and others interested in understanding the needs, challenges, and opportunities for LGBTQI+ movements in Mexico. The information collected comes from the voices of current movement members, in line with Fondo Semillas’ philosophy of amplifying, rather than replacing, the voices of activists.
