Together with governments and philanthropic partners, Global Philanthropy Project has secured $182 million dollars in new commitments to global LGBTI movements.

On July 1st, GPP marked the official closing of the Fund Our Futures Campaign, the first-ever global pledging initiative dedicated to supporting LGBTI movements. The campaign significantly surpassed its original goal, raising an incredible $182 million in pledge new funding for LGBTI movements worldwide.

64 grantmaking institutions including foundations, individuals, corporate funders, and donor governments answered the call. But these commitment-makers are more than just donors: they’re co-architects of a more inclusive and flexible funding ecosystem. They’ve helped signal that LGBTI movements are not a side concern. They are central to global justice.

We celebrate these commitments, which are especially meaningful in a moment of shrinking resources for LGBTI movements around the world. They underscore a powerful truth: our liberation is bound up together.

Yet, what matters even more than the total amount raised is what it represents. The Fund Our Futures Campaign was never just about the money. It was about stepping into the future with more clarity, more courage, and more collective power.
