Global Philanthropy Project Donor Pre-Conferences bring together key public and private grantmakers, donor governments, high net wealth individual donors, philanthropic thought leaders, and other partners within the LGBTI movement to develop strategies responding to current trends and opportunities. We aim to foster a shared understanding of the needs of the field, and identify and encourage opportunities for alignment, collaboration, and learning as donors.

ILGA-Europe encourages you to register early. Registration will take place on a ‘first come first served basis’ and may close before Sept 3 date if maximum conference capacity is reached.

What are the conference fees and costs?
ILGA-Europe offers three fees options for grantmakers based on your needs. The first two options cover the following: access to the entire conference programme including all meals from Thursday to Saturday (lunch, dinner, coffee breaks), four nights of accommodation with breakfasts at the conference hotel (Wednesday – Sunday), and the opening evening on Wednesday.
- Accommodation in single room 765.00€
- Accommodation in shared room 610.00€
- No accommodation 420.00€ (This only includes access to the entire conference programme including all meals from Thursday to Saturday (lunch, dinner, coffee breaks) and the opening evening on Wednesday)
What if I have to cancel my registration?
If you have to cancel your participation, please let ILGA-Europe know as soon as possible. Please note that if the cancellation occurs after Monday 16 September, food and programme costs will not be reimbursed. Accommodation costs will only be reimbursed if ILGA-Europe manages to offer your room to another participant.
ILGA-Europe encourages you to book your travel as soon as possible to ensure best rates.
- Suggested arrival: Tuesday evening for Wednesday morning meeting (there is no Tuesday evening programing)
- Suggested departure: Sunday morning
The Donor Pre-Conference will start Wednesday at 9:30am. The main conference programme will start on Wednesday at 17:00. The conference will conclude with a closing dinner and party in the evening of Saturday from approximately 19:00 to 02:00.
What if I need to arrive earlier or depart later?
Donors who want to arrive earlier than Wednesday or depart later than Sunday need to arrange the extra nights directly with the hotel. The same discount rate will be offered (€85/night in single room, breakfast and VAT included). Booking can be done via the following address: tereza.stankova@orea.
Will you provide visas?
Information about the visa application procedure and delays can be found on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
If you need a visa invitation letter, you will have the opportunity to indicate it on your registration form. Please make sure to complete all the relevant fields (citizenship, passport number, delivery/expiration date) otherwise ILGA-Europe will not be able to provide timely support for your visa application procedure.
