Global Philanthropy Project (GPP) invites you to our Global LGBTI Funding Summit 2024, on November 9-11, in Cape Town, South Africa, in advance of the 2024 ILGA World Conference. 

Held over two days and a half, the Global LGBTI Funding Summit will bring together around 200 of the leading funders from across the globe who are committed to equality and inclusive development for LGBTI communities to:

  • Increase funder knowledge by examining the latest evidence on the LGBTI movement’s funding needs and trends globally; 
  • Generate collaboration and collective strategies for resourcing opportunities for LGBTI rights advancements and responses to rising “anti-gender ideologies” and authoritarianism; and, 
  • Create a platform for donor governments and philanthropic actors to commit bold and ambitious new funding.

Who can attend?

  • Representatives of grantmaking organizations and other foundations (private/public)
  • Government and multilateral donors
  • Individual high net wealth (HNW) donors and philanthropic advisors (including representatives of intermediary funders who are primarily or solely grantmakers)
  • Intermediaries
