GPP Donor Events at the Qawsuna Summit

Global Philanthropy Project (GPP) invites you to the donor events at the Qawsuna Summit on September 16th in Kathmandu, Nepal, focused on funding LGBTI communities in North Africa and West Asia.
The donor events provide an opportunity for donors committed to the regions to reinforce their support for LGBTI movements with the themes:
- Support holistic care and safety
- Resource responsibly in crisis, conflict, and closed space, and
- Innovative ways to fund and support movement growth and funding equity
Who can attend?
- Representatives of grantmaking organizations and other foundations (private/public)
- Government and multilateral donors
- Individual high net wealth (HNW) donors and philanthropic advisors (including representatives of intermediary funders who are primarily or solely grantmakers)
- Intermediaries
Space is limited.
Once you have submitted your registration request, you will receive a confirmation email about whether we can accommodate your participation in Kathmandu.

Q&A
Will interpretation services be provided at the event?
The event will offer interpretation in English, French, and Arabic.
How many representatives can attend per organization?
Due to space constraints, we can only accommodate one person per organization. Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive a payment link.
What’s the attendance fee?
The attendance fee is 13500 THB (equivalent to about $350 USD per person). It is paid to ILGA Asia, which is supporting the Qawsuna organizers in producing the event. The fee includes a coffee break, lunch, and conference access.

Is accommodation included?
Accommodation is not covered in the participation cost.
