The Sigrid Rausing Trust (SRT) is a UK grant making foundation, founded in 1995 by Sigrid Rausing to support human rights globally. SRT’s purpose is to promote the values and principles of human rights, equality and the rule of law, and to preserve nature from further degradation. SRT believes in the importance of providing long term, core, flexible funding to groups.

In its LGBTI Rights programme, SRT supports organisations working to enhance the legal standing and social acceptance of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex people. SRT has a particular interest in the relationship between discriminatory laws, homophobia and violence.
