Overview

Nebula Fund supports movements advancing gender justice and LGBTQI+ rights to expand their narrative power. The organization works toward a shared vision of the world where everyone everywhere feels safe, has the freedom to be themselves, and can live with dignity and autonomy. In 2024, Nebula Fund will provide approximately $5M in grants. The Fund was created by seven private foundations and has grown to a donor community of nine. The team consists of five full-time staff and will grow to a team of seven in 2024.

Position Summary

The Grantmaking Strategist is responsible for developing and sustaining grantmaking portfolios that aim to build narrative power for gender justice movements. They will develop and adapt grantmaking priorities, identify potential grantees that align with the Fund strategies and support existing grantees through networking, technical assistance, and connections to additional resources. They will also engage in philanthropic advocacy, donor coordination and contribute to learning and evaluation of Nebula Fund’s programs.
