State of Trans and Intersex Organizing, 3rd Edition Surveys Launch 2023

FINAL EXTENDED DEADLINE: 8 December. If you have not received a survey link and wish to request one, or have any other questions or feedback, please contact survey@globalphilanthropyproject.org
The initial survey links developed an error, showing “You have either already completed the survey or your session has expired.” GPP has re-distributed updated links and materials to correct this issue. If needed, please contact us at survey@globalphilanthropyproject.org to request the new links.

Following the success of the 2017 State of Trans Organizing and State of Intersex Organizing reports, we are excited to launch the development of a third edition of these reports and the Trans and Intersex Funding and Movement Surveys that will yield the reports. These surveys document the current focus of trans and intersex groups’ organizing and access to funding. All trans-led and intersex-led groups worldwide, as well as programs focused on trans and/or intersex issues, are invited to take these surveys, whether funded or unfunded, formal or informal.

The surveys are fully anonymous, and no identifying data will be collected. The surveys are available in Arabic, English, French, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.

The survey data will activate more resources for trans and intersex movements. As in the past two editions, the final reports will be available as advocacy tools in multiple languages.

These surveys and the forthcoming reports are organized by Global Philanthropy Project with research partners Strength in Numbers Consulting Group and VAPA Consulting with the support of community partner GATE, donor partners American Jewish World Service, Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice, Dreilinden, and the International Trans Fund, and an expert advisory committee.
